Case Study – Rights Holder
Adobe Make It
2016
The Goal
Help launch the event with the right commercial foundations, then grow the right portfolio mix of brand partners
Year 1
Find one or two suitable partners who will assist with ticket sales for the event, bring cash support and content to help enhance the event experience for visitors.
Year 2
Improve the partner mix so the event gets positioned as a prosumer event, not just a trade event. Double the number of partners and triple the cash revenue, ideally through a presenting partner.
Solution
Attract the right partners
Year 1
We signed Canon, who came on board as a fully integrated partner offering a truly unique harbour photography tour.
Year 2
We created the right event features, leverage ideas and assets which helped involve Microsoft as presenting partner, Olympus, Wacom, Blurb, Cobs Popcorn and Tiger Beer.
Results
Exceeded targets, secured the right partner mix
Exceeded Expectations
Exceeded budget targets.
Enhanced Visitor Experience
Secured the right mix of partners who truly enhanced the event for the visitor.
Built Strong Relationships
All partners were in the process of re-signing for 2017.
James actually cares about the results you achieve with event partnerships and is very adaptable with even the most bespoke and unique briefs. For this reason we have been doing business together for over 8 years.
